Dr. Thomas Ferry, DDS
Dr. Thomas Ferry, DDS MS General, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry Dr. Ferry brings an elite level focus and winning mindset to the field of dentistry, qualities honed as a Division 1 student-athlete competing as a member of the nationally ranked Men’s Lacrosse Team at Hofstra University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ferry pursued a career in healthcare data systems and managing electronic health records. While he enjoyed improving healthcare systems, he felt more drawn to the personal side of healthcare and wanted to make a more personal impact.
With that goal in mind, Dr. Ferry made the bold decision to return to school to pursue a career in dentistry. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, followed by a Master of Science Degree in Biology, with a research focus on Oral Cancer Malignancies, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Dr. Ferry went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from the elite New York University College of Dentistry where he combined his passion for service with detail-oriented care and strong clinical skills. While at NYU, he trained alongside and was mentored by leaders in restorative, cosmetic, and digital dentistry with an emphasis on comprehensive care, evidence based practice, and cutting-edge techniques. This has allowed for him to handle a wide range of clinical scenarios with skill, empathy, and precision. As a father during dental school, he learned the true meaning of perseverance, balance, and compassion – qualities that define the way he cares for patients every day.
After earning his dental degree, Dr. Ferry refined his clinical skills through a rigorous Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program, allowing him to work with medically complex cases, master advanced procedures, and train under experienced specialists in a collaborative, high-volume setting.
After years of education and training, Dr. Ferry, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, is thrilled to be closer to family and friends while providing compassionate, high-quality care to the community. Outside the office, Dr. Ferry enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children, studying new dental advancements, and cheering on his favorite teams. – Dr. Ferry is eager to connect with patients, build relationships, and serve the community that he and his family call home.
