Hi, My name is Stephanie H, I have been an EFDA at OVFD since 8/2020. I graduated from BTI for dental assisting in 2013 and again for EFDA in 2019, I enjoy working with everyone here at the office, I love helping my patients achieve a beautiful smile. Outside of the office, I love spending time with my husband and our baby. We travel all the time for my husband's business buying and selling automobilia and petroliana items.
Terry Stoudt

My name is Terry and I am proud to be the Treatment Coordinator at OVFD for 26+ years. Originally from Delaware, I am happy to say I now consider Berks County my home. My role in helping our patients achieve good oral health and helping them to understand how their dental insurance can benefit them is very satisfying and rewarding. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, grandchildren, and friends.
I enjoy the sunshine and all that the warm weather brings! I stay very busy with home renovation and décor projects, which nurture my spirit. We have a great team here at OVFD that I am very proud to be a part of!
Melissa Hager
Hygienist
My name is Melissa and I am a Dental Hygienist here at Oley Valley Family Dentistry. I am from Montgomery County and graduated from Boyertown High School in 2016. I joined the OVFD team in August 2019 after obtaining my Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and license to administer local anesthesia from Northampton Community College. I enjoy connecting with my patients and providing the individualized care and education each patient deserves when they enter the dental office.
When I am not working, I spend most of my free time outdoors with close friends and family. I also enjoy going to concerts! I am honored to be a part of a team dedicated to providing their patients with optimal oral health care.
Sheri Batz
Hygienist
My name is Sheri B. I am originally from Lebanon County, but have been residing in Exeter since 2002. I graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1997 with my Dental Hygiene License. After having my first child in 2007, I started as a Dental Hygienist at OVFD on a temp and then part time basis. Being a part of this amazing team made my transition to a full time position with OVFD in January 2020 an easy one! The quality of dentistry, attention to detail, and positive energy of the staff makes me proud to be a part of this team.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two amazing kids, watching them dance and play soccer.
Susan Chelston
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant & Clinical Team Leader
My name is Susan and I have worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant at OVFD for 22 years. I originally hale from the Jersey Shore and love spending time with my family there, along with my husband, Danny, Son, Tyler, and Daughter-in-law, Ashley. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and following my favorite baseball team, yoga and exercise, health & wellness, reading, and pickling and canning.
I love working with our talented team at OVFD. We are committed to each other and the delivery of excellent care for our patients. I also have a beautiful daily drive into the Oley Valley, which is a pleasure for me.
Jenn Horst
Hygienist
My name is Jennifer Horst and I am a Dental Hygienist here at OVFD. I grew up in Berks County and graduated from Brandywine in 2000. I then went to Northampton Community College for dental hygiene and graduated in 2002. I started working at OVFD in September 2002 and have been here since. I enjoy being a part-time dental hygienist at OVFD and helping people have clean teeth! I appreciate the quality dentistry and kind, hardworking team members.
In addition to being a dental hygienist, I am a wife and a mother to 3 beautiful children. I enjoy camping, hiking, traveling with my family, and cooking. My husband and I also enjoy teaching Sunday School together once a month at church. I look forward to seeing you at OVFD!
